Tours Around Tuscany

- "We won't bring you everywhere!" -

Yes, you read it right: "we won't bring you everywhere!"

And you know why?

Because we live in Siena and for years we have been spending our time among these beautiful hills, discovering day by day the magic of the most gorgeous, hidden spots of our land.

So, differently from what our colleagues use to do, we won't drive you everywhere in Italy, making hundreds of miles for fast-showing places so far away from our everyday life; we couldn't give you the best.

BUT… if you'd like to visit the Tuscan Countryside, here we are, ready to give you all our experience, confidant   that nobody can do it better than us.

We're ready to meet all your requests concerning any kind of special itinerary you'd like us to show you; we know how different people are from each other; You can be interested in wine tasting more than in Etruscan Tombs or in Castles; reason why, we do not have any fixed destination, we'll shape together the itinerary which best fits your interests.

If You don't have a precise idea about what you want to visit, we built for you three different base itineraries. In one day It's almost impossible to touch all the destinations written in each prospect, specially if you want to take it easy and stop to have lunch or shopping (you're in vacation don't forget it..);  during the day we'll decide if, and what destination you want to skip.

Our three base itineraries are:

The Red Itinerary

The Blue Itinerary

The Green Itinerary

The Red Itinerary

It touches the southern part of the Tuscan Countryside; we'll go through the most famous and fascinating zones of this land, merging art and culture with beautiful and charming landscapes.

The small town we'll visit will be among the most famous of Italy either for art and for wine and vineyards.

Some names? Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano, Bagno Vignoni, S.Quirico d'Orcia and many other...

On the way back we'll see S.Antimo and its abbey where, if we will be lucky, we can listen to the monks playing Gregorian old chants.

Rocca di Montalcino

La fortezza di Montalcino

The Blue Itinerary

If you're interested in castles, vineyards and wine tasting, this is for You.

We'll drive for half a day on the so called "Strada dei Castelli" (the castles road), and for the other half on the "Strada del Vino" (the wine road).

We'll visit S.Gusmè, Borgo S. Felice, the Brolio Castle, the Meleto Castle, the Bossi Castle, and small towns in the middle of the black rooster zone, such as Gaiole in Chianti, Radda in Chianti and Castellina in Chianti

brolio castle

Il castello di Brolio in Gaiole in Chianti

The Green Itinerary

This Itinerary touches the north-western area. Places like Monteriggioni, S.Gimignano, Volterra will come back with you when you'll go home. Don't forget your camera 'cause you wouldn't ever forgive yourselves.

At the end of the day, on the way back, we'll drop in S.Galgano, one of the few abbeys in the world  with an open ceiling. There, we'll see the famous "spada nella roccia" and many other examples of the Middle Ages art.

San Gimignano

Le torri di S. Gimignano

This was just an "appetizer", if you want to know all the other opportunities you have to enjoy your time in this gorgeous land and for any further information, please e-mail, fax or call us...

Please remember that our tours are individual (just you and our guide), and that we drive with our  private  car (unless you would like to use yours), so we can't accept reservations for more than 4-5 people. If you're a larger group, we will be glad of giving you some good alternative addresses, but we couldn't drive you anywhere: smashing 50  people in a bus and treating  them like sheep is not our philosophy...
