FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We'll be happy to give you all the answers you need regarding any curiosity or special request you might have, so we kindly invite you to email us and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Below you also find some common questions, hopefully you may already find your answer there.

REGARDING THE FULL DAY TOURS

We work 7 days a week, 24h/24h.
We pick up anywhere in Siena and its outskirts at any time you prefer. We suggest 9.00 a.m. but we can come later or earlier, that's the nice thing of a private dedicated service. We also pick up in Florence.
The length of a Full Day service is 8/9 hours but of course we can add, modify and personalize this.
We only make individual services, you won't find other people in the van.
Families with well behaved kids are welcome.
Very old folks are more than welcome, we adjust to their pace.
Vegans and Vegetarians are welcome, we can suggest a nice place for lunch, as long as you let us know per time.
Our vehicles have double A/C and wide sliding doors easy to get through.
There are always bottles of water in our vans and umbrellas.

REGARDING THE TRANSFERS

We can pick up anywhere in Tuscany and we can take you to your next destination, also very long distances (Amalfi, Venice, Como, Rome, etc.). Of course also the inbound service to Tuscany is possible.
The length of the service depends on the destination but we can give you a good evaluation of the driving lenght.
Our vehicles have double A/C and wide sliding doors easy to get through.
There are always complementary water bottles in our vans.
We can turn on the wi-fi in the van.
Our vehicles are connected with real traffic service, so sometimes we can try to bypass the critical points with alternative side roads.
In many airports, we have reserved parking lots, so it's faster for us to reach the car with the luggage.
We are allowed to drive through the historical center of the towns, so, unless you are the Pope, we can drive you right at the frontdoor of your accomodation. If you are on a cruise, we are authorized to come right at the wharf.

WE TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOU

We try to anticipate your needs and we are ready for almost any request. Our vehicles have a large trunk so you can bring large suitecases. For long distance transfer we have everything to make you feel comfortable, drinks, pillows and light covers. Wi-fi is available and, if you let us know per time, a tablet to browse the internet will be at your disposal in the van.

Our vehicles receive a full check-up every month, tires and brakes are always perfect. We take drug and blood test periodically. The majority of us is certified for CPR. In a few words: you are putting your life in good hands, ours.

- We are just 2 people, is it possible to use your service?
Yes, of course. Couples who would like to experience Tuscany in a very relaxed and friendly athmospere, represent a big portion of our business.

- Will there be anybody else in the car?
No, our tours are private so it will be just you in the car. We never mix groups. We do know that what is important for you can be less interesting for someone else, so we prefer to always keep groups separate and shape the day around you and your preferences.

- Where should we meet each other?
We come and pick you up at your hotel, also in the historical center, we are authorized to reach every place. The suggested time for picking up is 9.00, but of course you can change it in anytime you'd like.

- How long is a full day tour?
We never look at the clock and we DO NOT have strict schedules to follow. We start in the morning and as long as we have daylight and you have batteries, we explore Tuscany! Broadly we can say that we start around 9 a.m. and we finish around 5/6 p.m. but of course we can finish earlier if you start feeling tired. Clients usually ask for a lunch break anytime between noon and 2 p.m. and we're happy to take them in a typical place with genuine food.

- I'll be by myself, can you give me a tour?
It is possible, although the price will not be inexpensive, you certainly understand that we have fixed costs for the car/gas etc. In this case, if you want to keep an eye on the budget, we suggest you to write in some of the most popular travel forums where they have special sections for solo travellers and maybe you can find for the same day another solo traveler staying in Tuscany and willing to share the tour and the cost with you. If instead you don't mind spending a little more but having the vehicle and driver all for yourself, you're very welcome, give us a call!

- I'm coming in Tuscany with my mother who is 85, she's a nice person, full of energy but she recently had an hip replacement so she cannot really hike and she may need to rest once in a while during the day. She often needs to take a bathroom stop. Will this be a problem for you?
Absolutely not! We are specialized also in people who are not teenagers any more. We know how full of life and sense of humor they can be; our cars are very comfortable and we will adjust and synchronize our paste to their paste, like we always do.

- We trust your judgment about the places to go, you are the expert, but is it possible to include some destinations that I've been told about and that I really want to visit?
Of course, it's your day and we will do anything possible to see you happy and satisfited at the end of the day, so there's no problem fo us to shape an Itinerary following your destinations.

- Can I put down a Credit Card Deposit and would it be refundable in case of cancelation?
Yes, Credit Card deposits are totally refundable until 30 days before the service and partially refundable until 7 days before the tour/transfer service. Of course, in case you won't be able to use our service any longer, we'd appreciate if you could advise us per time, so we can give the day to other clients in our waiting list.

- What happens if it rains?
In this case it really much depends on you and the temperature you are used to. We are always available to go, unless the weather is really dangerous, but we also understand that you are spending money for the day, and sightseeing all day long under a heavy rain might be disappointing. Sometimes there's a very cold temperature and a heavy rain going on and we have people from Chicago or Seattle who are in shorts and t-shirt saying "Terrible weather?? Come on, don't be ridiculous"... With the same weather instead, some guests from Florida could be wearing heavy coats. So let's say that we leave it up to you, when we'll meet in the morning we'll discuss together the options that we have and if we can postpone the tour of a day or two. In the worst case we can cancel and no cancelation fee will be applied.

- We booked a transfer from Pisa airport to Siena. If our flight will be late, will you be waiting for us?
Yes, we include in our service 2 hours waiting free of charge. After the two hours, we'll apply a little reasonable extra charge. Of course if you could contact us and advise per time about the big delay (also a txt message on our cell phone number), we'd really appreciate and we won't apply any extra charge.
